Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ContextOS website at contextosai.com, our public documentation, blog, and related materials (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site provides public documentation, specifications, blog articles, and a TypeScript reference implementation that describe the ContextOS runtime. It is informational. Any private deployments of the ContextOS runtime operated by you or your organization are governed by a separate written agreement, not these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or breach any security or authentication measures, except under a coordinated disclosure as described in our security.txt.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by overwhelming infrastructure or evading rate limits.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content for the purpose of building a competing product, or to train a machine learning model without our prior written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with ContextOS.

Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by ContextOS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Code samples, schemas, and reference implementations published in the documentation may be used in your own projects subject to the license noted alongside them; absent an explicit license, content is provided for reading and evaluation only.

“ContextOS” and the ContextOS logo are trademarks of ContextOS. You may reference them in factual statements (for example, “built on ContextOS”) but may not use them in a way that implies endorsement or partnership without our written consent.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites, services, or repositories. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

No warranty

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CONTEXTOS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContextOS from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ContextOS is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
