This Privacy Policy describes how ContextOS (“ContextOS”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with contextosai.com, our public documentation, and related services (collectively, the “Site”). It applies to visitors and readers. It does not cover any private deployments of the ContextOS runtime operated by you or your organization, which are governed by separate agreements.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you contact us by email or submit a form, we receive your message, your email address, and any content you choose to include.
- Usage data. When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics providers automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We load Google Analytics automatically for aggregated traffic measurement when analytics is configured.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses a small number of cookies for theme preference and analytics. The Site does not currently present an in-site analytics consent banner. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still function.
How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our documentation.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To understand aggregate usage trends and improve content.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information to train machine learning models.
Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site (e.g., hosting on Vercel, analytics via Google Analytics, email delivery), bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregated and de-identified data may be retained for longer.
Security

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
International transfers
We operate globally. Information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
